SMICO Ships 8x24, 3 Deck Aggregate Screen for Mine Production
New Aggregate Screen is a Success!
SMICO completed the design and manufacture of a new large footprint aggregate screener with capacity of +2,000 TPH. The new unit is powered with either a single or dual shaft. The dual shaft model uses inertia to sync the rotation of the shafts and provide a heavy-duty, four bearing drive unit that can withstand even the toughest applications.
The new design can accommodate a variety of screen media including polyurethane, perforated plate, wedge wire and standard wire screen media. The unit can be arranged with up to four decks in a variety of deck configurations. The SMICO aggregate screener provides industry leading reinforcement to its features through the use of three 1/2" reinforcement plates covering almost 75% of the side sheets. Few if any aggregate screens in the industry today have this kind of construction.
The new unit comes many standard features, but further customization is possible by adding optional equipment. Stainless steel construction is also an option through the use of proprietary, static discharge system and specialized reinforcement. The new aggregate screener is ideal for large mining operations, rock quarry mines, mineral production such as salt, industrial sands, KCL (Potash), Vermiculite, and Borax.
